Bob founded Kroll Capital in 2011 and has been an independent sponsor and advisor to private equity funds, family offices, acquisitive corporations, and executives in transition. He is involved in sourcing and negotiating transactions and maintaining relations with investors, corporations and financial institutions. He develops acquisition strategies in partnership with investors, corporations and talented operating executives. He seeks new investment opportunities and evaluates growth investments, recapitalizations, and mezzanine financing across multiple industries, including specialty manufacturing, distribution and business services.
He has invested and exited from multiple companies, and has over 30 years of domestic and international, executive operating experience. He has served on multiple boards, working with companies in many industries, including distribution, niche manufacturing and industrial services. He has extensive manufacturing experience with instrumentation, sensors, systems and software for the aerospace, automotive, defense, industrial and agriculture industries. He is an active member of the ACG, AUVSI, NCMA, NDIA, and a SCORE business counselor. He has a BA from Concordia University in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and was trained in Investment Banking at the Investment Banking Institute in Chicago.
